摘要:This paper presents a summary of the research findings discussed in the conversation regarding primary amenorrhea.
The cytogenetic analysis of 214 Chinese women with primary amenorrhea and a retrospective study from a tertiary care
center in South India on chromosomal analysis in amenorrhea were reviewed. Additionally, the role of follicular excess in
polycystic ovaries and its relation to follicular arrest, as well as the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome in adolescence,
were discussed. The studies highlighted the high prevalence of chromosomal abnormalities in primary amenorrhea patients and
the effectiveness of hormonal therapy, surgical interventions, and lifestyle modifications in improving menstrual regularity and
reproductive health. The future research directions were emphasized, including exploring the molecular mechanisms of specific
chromosomal abnormalities in primary amenorrhea and enhancing genetic counseling and patient communication.
