摘要:The financial services industry is continually seeking advanced methods to bolster security and improve customer experience. Biometric technology presents a transformative solution that leverages unique biological traits for secure authentication. This paper conducts a strategic analysis of the advantages, challenges, and implementation strategies of biometric technology within the financial sector. Through a mixed-methods research approach, including case studies and surveys, the study evaluates the impact of biometric systems on fraud reduction, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency. The analysis further explores the technological, legal, operational, and reputational risks associated with biometric technology and proposes a comprehensive risk management framework. A phased implementation strategy is outlined, emphasizing short-term actions, medium-term goals, and long-term vision. The paper concludes with recommendations for financial institutions to effectively integrate biometric technology, highlighting the importance of continuous innovation and proactive risk management. The findings suggest that with careful planning and strategic execution, biometric technology can become a cornerstone of secure and customer-centric financial services.
