Research on the Integration of General Education and Professional Education in American Universities

摘要:This article provides an overview of the research findings on the integration of liberal education and professional
education and offers insights and recommendations for higher education institutions, policymakers, and educators. The research
findings demonstrate that the integration of liberal education and professional education contributes to the holistic development
of students, emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary learning and practical application. The article also proposes
recommendations related to collaboration, professional development of teachers, and ongoing evaluation and improvement,
with the aim of promoting the practice and development of comprehensive quality education.
