Abstract: At present, there are more than 1.11 million educational institutions for the elderly at all levelsin China. Under the premise of high quality and sustainable development, they need to guide by rich educational theories for the elderly. Therefore,it is urgent to establish the elderly education major,clarify its professionalpositioning,and accelerate the pace of its training.
